Wide Angle
Photography
This refers to photographing wide scenes one section
at a time, and then digitally stitching them together
to make a very wide angle photograph. One benefit
of this method is that it’s possible for you to
capture scenes without the use of expensive ultra wide
angle or fish-eye lenses.

How we make wide angle panoramas.
A
typical wide angle lens (without significant distortion)
has a picture angle of about 80 degrees or slightly
more. By stitching together two or more photos,
we can easily get 180 degrees coverage, or even more.
