Wide Angle Photography
This refers to photographing wide scenes one section at a time, and then digitally stitching them together to make a very wide angle photograph.  One benefit of this method is that it’s possible for you to capture scenes without the use of expensive ultra wide angle or fish-eye lenses.

How we make wide angle panoramas.
A typical wide angle lens (without significant distortion) has a picture angle of about 80 degrees or slightly more. By stitching together two or more photos, we can easily get 180 degrees coverage, or even more.
